Just wanted to ask anyone who has upgraded to an HD drive if this works or if there are any issues with it. TIA. Mega STE: The older one has the WD1772 Floppycontroller onboard - it must been replaced by the Atari AJAX Floppycontroller (understands DD / HD / ED). The newer model (Built 1992 and later) has it onboard. By 1040 STE and 520 STE the CPU-clock-rate must be upgraded from 8 to 10 MHz (minimum for HD-drived). Anyone here knows, how to make it?
