matthew180
I need to send a 9918A to someone in Luxembourg to have it decapped and additional die-shots made of the substrate for reverse engineering. Shipping between European countries seems like it would be faster/cheaper than from the U.S.. I'm happy to pay for the 9918A and all shipping charges. The 9918A does not have to work. Also, bonus points if anyone has a 9900 CPU to include as well... I had die-shots made for both the 9918A and 9900 already, but they include the metal layer, and for actual reverse engineering the metal needs to be removed and additional substrate die-shots made so the transistors can be worked out. Please send a PM if you can help. Thanks.
matthew180
Ok, I cannot edit my initial post, so I guess I just have to post another: Let me be more clear. I'm looking for someone *in Europe* to send a 9918A VDP to someone in Luxembourg, on my behalf. I'm just trying to be a little more efficient with time and shipping costs, since I am in the U.S. and shipping costs between oceans is stupid expensive, as we all know. I will pay for the costs (assuming it is less than shipping from the U.S.). Anyone willing to spare a 9918A and do the leg work of shipping it to Luxembourg, please PM me. Stuart
I can do that if no one else have offered yet. I'm in the UK. Have several spare 9900s as well.

matthew180
FYI, the person who has graciously volunteered their time and equipment to attempt the new die shots also made the C128 Neo: https://c128.se/ Cool stuff for sure! Retro computer preservation is great work.

I have a Sixty-clone and an A500++... but no time to do the components
