carlsson Posted February 27 Share Posted February 27 The Atarisoft version of Galaxian for Atari 8-bit also is radically different than the Atarisoft version for Commodore 64, both visually and in terms of gameplay. I suppose those were two different teams working on the ports. I remember last time we played Galaxian (April 2021), I went through both the official and unofficial versions on the C64 but neither matched or was as playable as the A8 version. Since then I've played Galencia which is a good game but not a perfect replica (*) of Galaxian. (*) Those who follow my posts elsewhere on the forum know I'm not too hot for perfect replicas of games. I prefer when games add something unique, does something better than just mimicking an existing game. Other people have the exact opposite opinion and simply are too lazy to download MAME and a bunch of arcade ROMs. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So, in theory, you can put your favorite album in the tape recorder and enjoy the music.... By the way, I missed the end of the previous round. Should I submit my hi score here or in the other round thread? (The score is pretty miserable, but still).
