Ray Gillman
Anyone ever considered doing a port to 8-bit of Oids from the ST? It was always one of my favorites and doesn't seem especially complex. Just a lunar lander game with some shooting and targets. Not far removed from Gauntlet
Mr Robot
Look for a game called Thrust. I think you'll like it.

Great game and should be able to be implemented by those much more talented than me.
+CharlieChaplin
Thrust with joystick controls: https://a8.fandal.cz/detail.php?files_id=3237 or Venus Express: https://a8.fandal.cz/detail.php?files_id=5488
Ray Gillman
Those are not bad. What else I pine for is a fixed version of Koronis Rift where the collected gear conveyor doesn't get corrupted after you collect a few equipments. That might probably be a good one to go the other way and upgrade to a larger memory and graphics on ST Amiga or PC type port? What say you? Marius
I was thinking about Thrust as well, and I might be the only one in the universe, but I even love the game with keyboard controls. It can be quite a frustrating (as in challenging) game. I haven't played it for a while. Thanks for the reminder. I really liked it back then, so let me dig it up.
