It's going to be a VERY difficult task I think..... 😵 I basically have two weeks to try for it. White Water ends tonight and LNC is a waste of time for me so I'll be 'Sharp Shooting' for the next two weeks... Problem is in that game a very high score is SUPER hard to get. You need an RNG that spits out a PLETHORA of spaceships and then you gotta hit them all, lol. Not an easy task... I shoulda had like a 52 score lastnight playing Sub Shoot, but I overloaded on the shoot button and as such it failed in a very crucial spot leaving me with a score of 49..... 🤦♂️🙄 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So, the plan was to play on the DS version of Intellivision Lives. How surprised was I when I learned that on that version you can only play Sharp Shot with two consoles connected for multiplayer?! So... At the last minute, I grabbed my PS2 and GameCube copies, figuring I would be able to find some time to play in those. Then, as I suggested earlier, I didn't end up going, so I figured I would check the game out on Intellivision Lives at home. I never really spent much time with those collections, but I am pretty impressed. Although, the GameCube version seems to play a little differently, maybe a bit faster? I typically like to participate on original hardware, as the nostalgia is such a big part of the fun for me, but seeing Rickster's recently posted YouTube videos using Intellivision Lives, I feel totally fine posting these scores not on my actual Intellivision. 🤪 (And yes, I'm aware that emulation is totally allowed for the High Score Club.) So, here they are: Space Gunner: 76 Sub Shoot: 33 Maze Shoot: 37 Football Toss: 91 Total Combined Score: 237 (All on PS2 Intellivision Lives except Sub Shoot, which was on the GameCube version of Intellivision Lives.) I can see how Rickster gets those scores in Football Toss and Space Gunner, but I can't for the life of me fathom how he pulls off the scores on the other two. It's just amazing. MAN OH MAN that was a royal pain.... 🥵 Football Toss = 105 (Played using Intellivision Lives! CD on PS2) Space Gunner = 90 (Played using Intellivision Lives! CD on PS2) Sub Shoot = 51 (Played using Intellivision Lives! It's just amazing. @dpisacane My personal best on Maze Shoot is 62 and my PB on Sub Shoot is 53. I have vids of both of them on Twin Galaxies from a few years ago. The Maze Shoot score was an absolute fluke because I must have had 15+ multiple hits on that run. The 53 score on Sub Shoot was just a perfect RNG and I think I hit every ship that came out... My PB on Space Gunner is 94 which is also up on TG.
