Living Room Arcade
Pun Intended! Attention, HSC gamers! According to the unofficial game manual, Red Sea Crossing programmer Steve Schustack reportedly "eluded to the possibility of an Easter egg in the game." An Easter egg? "Happy Hunting!" Warzownd
Welp they all can't be River Raid, right? 🤪 Cross force - 3780 - boy that gas tank really likes to come out while I'm dying 😕 Crossbow - 76900 - I like the 7800 version with light gun better, but still cool! Red Sea - 13200 - I will not be purchasing this for my collection 😆 4

Jasonhrb
Some interesting game choices for this round. I have really enjoyed Crossbow. It's a fun game, and the "map" element adds a little bit of depth to it. It's har to imagine this having had much impat on anyone in 1987 in all honesty, but as a retro game it's a lot of fun. Crossforce is imho nearly a very good game. The control dynamic is interesting , and the difficulty ramps up nicely. The extreme levels of flicker kill much of the fun for me though, which is a shame. The surprise for me though was Red Sea Crossing. This game should be rubbish given the component parts, but somehow I found it a lot of fun. In some ways it's a bit of a Pitfall knock off, but for some reason the (non 2600) game it reminds me of is Hunchback, even though the connection is limited to a flick screen playfield where you dodge stuff. I loved Hunchback as a kid, which is perhaps why this one lands very high up my list of games that I shouldn't like, but somehow do. Anyway, that's enough from me, here are some scores :

Keir
I haven’t yet played the above games this week, but I’m also surprised at how much I’m enjoying Red Sea Crossing. Reminds me a bit of Smurf: Rescue. Edited March 29 by Keir formatting
