In which folder should this file be packed in madpas: {$r resource.rc}

thats basically up to you, the file can be placed anywhere, but you need to

give the corresponding (relative) path. so you can put it next to your .pas file

and use {$r ./resource.rc}, should you have multiple such files, or want to

organize, you can put the files into a subfolder (say A) and write {$r ./A/resource.rc}

(not sure if windows uses \ instead of /, i am using linux/mac os)
