+LS650
Currently I'm using a spare full-size keyboard with my 400 Mini, but it looks gigantic in comparison and takes up a lot of unnecessary space on the coffee table. Anyone want to recommend a more compact USB keyboard that I can order through Amazon or whatever?
ErikDavid
This is what I use and seems to work well: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IQL2VCE?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
Sean_1970
The mini USB keyboard I use was purchased nearly 20 years ago and I don’t even know if the company still exists: A4 Tech model KL5UP. i will note that my keyboard has a power button and the 400Mini will turn off when I press it - doesn’t come on though 🤷♂️
TampaBay
I use this micro keyboard with my gaming PC. It has a 2.4g USB dongle so it's wireless but recognized as USB. It has a mouse trackpad as well. I think it's great. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07T13GLY3?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
glreno
This is definitely in the "whatever else" category, but I spent the last few weeks building a virtual keyboard that runs on my tablet and a Raspberry Pi. (The Pi plugs into the 400's USB port, and publishes a web page that emulates the keyboard) https://github.com/glreno/rvkybard/wiki It's a lot of work, but I have a keyboard that looks and acts like a real Atari 400 keyboard. With just as much key travel.
+LS650
I got a SteelSeries Apex 3 TKL keyboard. It's very nice for typing on so I use it with my work laptop as well.
Eisengrim
I got this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DZZWD9W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but it's hard to recommend because it's almost too small. Fine for single key entries for starting a game, but hard to type on.
