However the boards have control issues and I have no idea how to fix them. Directionals have issues (down on one controller, up and right on another IIRC). Pretty sure the contacts are probably the issue unless the controller cords are mangled. There's two ways to fix them pretty easily, if the cord is the issue just swap it out, if it's the contacts, they are easy to clean using a thin nail filer cut into small strips. Just make them like 1 inch by 1/8 inch wide and stick it under the contact rectangular dome. And move up and down a few times.
