Raisin54
Merci d’avance.
+MrZarniwoop
Read from this post on in this thread for @juansolo's and @marauder666's exploration of video quality with my French Péritel (RGB SCART) Atari 7800.
Raisin54
If I bought a GameDrive with an RGB cable on the video output, do you think I wouldn't have this static problem any more?
+MrZarniwoop
The 7800 GameDrive has its own on-cartridge RGB video out for games on its microSD card and is crispy clear. That port completely bypasses the onboard video of the 7800.
Raisin54
Super, I'm going to buy a Gamedrive to solve this problem. Or is there a good site to get the Rom of my favourite games that I have on cartridges? Thanks in advance.

I use the GameDrive on my French 7800, the difference is night and day. The only issue is you can't play Asteroids on a PAL machine with the gamedrive RGB output. The internal Asteroids ROM will not work through the GD and none of the PAL asteroids romz work. However the PacManPlus hombrew versions will work Edited April 29 by mimo

mimo
Here are a couple of images using my French console with it's faux RGB Dull colours, blurred image
mimo
Compared to the GD RGB output. Much brighter, sharper picture and the colours just pop. I used the same input on my LG 42" plasma for both sets of images 1

The ROM is included in the Hacks folder of Trebors 7800 ROM PROPack. Sourced from @RevEng posted work.
