Rickster8
My first Congo Bongo entry.... It's a cute 'fun' game, but it's so delicate, meaning the guy dies so fkin easily that it flat out ruins the game..... 🙄 23,490

dpisacane
Well, here are my first scores. Nothing to write home about, but I guess I'm on the board: Vectron: 27,460 Congo Bongo: 5,750
dpisacane
I do have a quick question. How the hell do you hold the controller so you can effectively hit both sides buttons when playing Vectron? I can't figure anything out that works well... 🤔😩😞
dpisacane
Was able to take another crack at Congo Bongo and I improved a bit: Congo Bongo: 19,850

You just gotta figure out what works 'best' for you.... 😵

Rickster8
My Congo Bongo Update: This game could really use a 3rd stage. Maybe standing just outside the rain forest and your guy gets to hurl tomahawks into the forest trying to peg whatever wildlife he can... 🤣 40,870

fakecortex
I did slightly better years ago when I played it here, but I'm not sure how. I can't seem to build on the lower left, and I think it's a limitation of the controller on emulator. Vectron - 2,400 Congo Bongo - 4,760 Might not be the controller that's keeping me from doing well on this one 😕 What keeps me from playing much here, and getting excited to play, is emulation honestly. I bet we all agree that INTV games work best on original hardware. While I have a bunch of games, whenever I have to emulate one, it's hit or miss on how it'll control 😕

Vectron does use the extra diagonals in an Intellivision controller. An analog stick can work as long as you spring back to center after every shot.
