macsonny
Hi All, I want to make a SF314 to Atari ST cable (or two). I've printed the 3D connector and shell out to make up mu own cable but I can't seem to find the pinout for the cable. As the cable will go either way I'm assuming it's virtually a pass through cable. Anyone have the exact pinout so I can make my own cable? Happy Computing moved on from the Atari 8 bit and made an Atari ST cartridge that would flux copy most SSDD and DSDD floppy disks. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_drives It needs a straight cable and I think it came with one. I have one in my garage somewhere as I now use Greaseweazle when necessary.

351cougar
as far as i can tell falcon didnt have an external 2nd floppy port? also How did the megaSTE do external 1.4mb drives, the HD select isnt plumbed thru that cable.
Chri O.
NOTE: I did not test this yet I am assuming TOS4.4 has support for this. On Falcon there is no external floppy port but there is possibility of connecting second floppy internally and wiring the one missing gpio pin from Yamaha sound chip. Chri O.
Back in the day om my Mega ST modified with Atari AJAX(8,16Mhz) chip high density floppy drives (One internal and One external) I needed to provide extra wire to it through a small 3mm jack.
