jab
Primiera is an old italian gamble cards game. It is played with a classic 40-card deck without 8, 9 and 10. The cards have the following value: (from the highest to lowest) 7 = 21 points 6 = 18 points A = 16 points 5 = 15 points 4 = 14 points 3 = 13 points 2 = 12 points Each of the figures (King, queen or jack) = 10 points. The aim of the game is to create a winning combination, either by serving it (first 4 cards), or by exchanging cards. The 4 winning combinations are, from highest to lowest (for each combination the value is given by the sum of the cards that compose it): - Flush: 4 cards of the same suit - 55: 7-6-A of the same suit (called 55 because the sum of the values of the 3 cards is 55 = 21 + 18 + 16). - Primiera: 4 cards of different suits - Point: 2 or 3 cards of the same suit At the beginning of each manche, press fire to gets cards (4 cards are dealt to each player and you are the bottom player). On the right you will see the value of the combination that you have, with the color that depends on the type: Flush = red 55 = Orange Primiera: = yellow Point: = white On top will be highlighted only the players that add a bet (3 fiches fixed). Total bet values and deck player(T:) are displayed at the top. You can select the cards to change by moving the yellow cursor and pressing fire under the card to change. A red bar sets that the card will be change. If you position on the right, you select the chip that allows you to play and change the selected cards while on the left you select the X for pass the turn. . Each player starts with an initial value of 40 fiches. Each round pays 1 fixed fiches + 3 fiches if he adds a bet. Whoever has the highest combination wins the round and the bets. In case of equal combinations, the player nearest (clockwise) to the deck player wins. You are the first deck player at the bottom and the turn change every manche. The game ends when a player exceeds 70 fiches or when one has less than 4 fiches.. A race ranking will be displayed. Happy fun Alberto. https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primiera_(gioco) Primiera.bin Primiera_sounds.bin Edited May 12 by jab 5
r_type2600
Cool addition to the 2600 library and the game looks great! Some sound (even basic) would be nice though...

alfredtdk
I detected a problem when running on the real console on a CRT TV, the image does not stay fixed, it keeps rising vertically. In the emulator it works perfectly. I can't say if this is only happening specifically in my case. Have others tested on the real console?
