cx2k
Most of you you should know the name Jerry White from back in the day. If you don't you can find a list of programs he wrote here: https://www.atarimania.com/pgelstsoft.awp?system=8&type=G&team=1402&step=25 and here: https://www.atarimania.com/pgelstsoft.awp?system=8&type=U&team=1402&step=25 I sent Jerry an Atari computer and disk drive a couple of years ago and he has updated his Poker Solitaire program. He is currently trying to update his old Othello program and is getting pretty frustrated. The program is written in BASIC and he is compiling it. Current issues he's having are in trying to make the computer smarter and also having player/missile issues after compiling the program. For being a computer wiz back in the day, he does seem to struggle with some of the tools and as I said, he's frustrated to the point of giving up. Before that happens, I figured I would ask here if anyone was up for the challenge of helping him out. He'd be happy to give you credit of course and in my opinion, it's kind of cool to work with a legend in the 8-bit world. Hopefully, someone here is up to the challenge! If interested, drop me a PM and I'll put you in touch. Thanks, John
