+Saturn
How do I go about downloading the "Big One" version of the JFUK movie? You can't.. but you can ask me nicely and I will run you a DVD copy off if you are willing to pay for the media and postage. I can write R0 disc's but your player has to be able to read DVD+R discs I'm in *starts typing long winded speech about how Linkovitch is the coolest dude of all time...* You need to get out more it's not that good! Perhaps worth waiting for GazTee's more complete vid? I am more than happy to send you one tho if you really want. Either way would be fine. It's Jaguar history

Stone
Damnit...I finished getting the big video (what connection's that hosted on btw? only got 60kB/s, prolly one of my housemates downloading porn again ) and then got taken hideously ill and went back to my parents house, where I don't have the video any more Looks like I'll be here another week or so...have to get some extra gaming in on my 'spare' Jag I left behind. Oh, and SNES Donkey Kong Country 2 Looks like I'll survive then... Stone
Htbaa
For me it downloaded quite fast. About 130 kb/s
LinkoVitch
It's hosted with plenty throughput. It has so far been peaking at 2-3Mb/s You won't have pushed it too far... blame your housemate and demand a copy of what he got

lais
Whilst at JFUK 2K3 I took some video, I was then lost in the woods and was never found again, only my footage was found. It has now been made avaiilible for download as DivX... Can't remember if I mentioned it before, but there's another report here: http://www.myatari.net/issues/oct2003/jagfest.htm

A cheaper and more flexible solution would be a linux box acting as router, then with the aid of CBQ trees you could priotitise your bandwidth (IE you get it when you need it, but when you dont' need it he gets it). Plus a damn site cheaper than crappy 3Com switches

Well the idea was to permanently give his housemates poor access! Plus a damn site cheaper than crappy 3Com switches Oi! Don't say that! I once had a free lunch courtesy of 3Com! Well I would have recommended a Cisco Catalyst 6000 series but from what I've seen they're pretty bulky.
LinkoVitch
Well the idea was to permanently give his housemates poor access! Cheapest way of doing that is with a set of cable snips just cut the Tx cable at the other end to his machine (so Rx on that plug) he will get a link light on his machine but it just won't work hehe Plus a damn site cheaper than crappy 3Com switches Oi! Don't say that! I once had a free lunch courtesy of 3Com! Well I would have recommended a Cisco Catalyst 6000 series but from what I've seen they're pretty bulky. hehe yeah.. does the 6000's offer bandwidth throttling? last time I used a 5000 it didn't? Plus Cisco switches are pretty poor too when heavily loaded.. severe case of "Now I'm a switch... now I'm a hub.." syndrome hehe Broadcast traffic of the starboard interface ahoy Cap'ain

Stone
We already have a Linux box acting as router But sharing with 6 p2p-using people does knacker your downstream bandwidth Stone
LinkoVitch
We already have a Linux box acting as router But sharing with 6 p2p-using people does knacker your downstream bandwidth Do a search for a wonderful script called cbq.init read the start of it (thats the instructions) now sneak on at some point and get your rules on there.. shortly afterwards at random chant "All your bandwidth belong to us"
