BydoEmpire
It's summer time, surf's up, dudes and dudettes! Let's play the California Games Surfing event. This was one of my favorites on c64, so I'm looking forward to giving it some time on the Master System. Instruction Manual here: https://www.smspower.org/seganotebook/califgam/manual/califgmm.html#surfing For a bonus point, play any of the other California Games events (BMX, Hacky Sack, etc). This round runs June 17 - June 30. Totals: @Dashopepper 8.2 @wongojack 6.0 @BydoEmpire 5.8 (+1) @fakecortex 5.0 (+1) Roland 1.4 Edited Wednesday at 07:37 PM by BydoEmpire

Dashopepper
Dashopepper 8.2 Roland. 1.4 Quite the lack of documentation in the instruction manual or the internet on what to do. Compared to the Lynx version it seems a lot more “grounded” where you do loops in the water and ride under the waves. No vertical scrolling so if you do manage to get huge air you are completely lost off screen. I managed to win the new surf board in the card flipping mini game. It’s super fast but thats not necessarily a good thing. I’ll have to see what other version is closest to this to see if there is something I am missing. fakecortex
Practiced some… wiped out a lot. Read the manual… wiped out a little less, lol. Cali Games Surfing - 5.0 For the bonus, I played through an entire competition without reading the manual. I… did not do well Here’s footage of me after playing in any event: Superb animation. And the ice cream makes it even better. One of my favorite parts of the game 1
