raindog
Well, I completed my "TV Games" trifecta of Activision, Atari and Namco, and then came across the "Intellivision 25" in Bed Bath and Beyond. So now I just need a NES multigame like what the INTV 25 is based on, only with NES games. I know nowhere super reputable will carry them because of their grey market nature, but I'd like to get my hands on one, preferably with Mappy on it, preferably via the net. I've even seen a Genesis/MD "console in controller" on a few hongkong sites but no NES versions, they seem to have gone out of style in the last year. Tried to buy one off of someone on ebay, but he didn't list games and the auction ended before he responded to my question. Anyone got any leads? Avid Fan
About a year ago I saw a guy on ebay selling Gameboy Advances, that did not play GBA games,, but had 100, or 50 NES games built into it, it also could be plugged into the TV. raindog
I've seen that, but it didn't have Mappy in it (and I couldn't find a place to actually buy one anyway.)
snorlaxnut
I saw this site: http://www.powerjoy.com But from the screenshots on the main page, it might be arcade roms, not NES ones. But on this site (same product): http://www.thinkgeek.com/cubegoodies/toys/...44e/images/670/ If you look at the "View Of Expansion Slot (future use)" picture, is that a Famicom (Japanese NES) cartridge type slot? MegaManFan
A kiosk at the Oakview Mall was selling these today (the 76,000 in 1, which now comes with a light gun attached for the relevant games) but they wanted $45 for it. I passed.
raindog
As it happens, no sooner did I post the above than I found one on ebay (listed as "power play", the other name on the label) for $28. I probably would have shelled out the 40 bucks for the thinkgeek one if I hadn't found one, though.
SteveW
I've got the 76000-in-1, and it's got Mappy on it. I only paid $20 for mine. But at the flea market I bought it at, everyone had those things and was selling them at all different prices. Some were charging as much as $35. Jasoco
But on this site (same product): http://www.thinkgeek.com/cubegoodies/toys/...44e/images/670/ If you look at the "View Of Expansion Slot (future use)" picture, is that a Famicom (Japanese NES) cartridge type slot? If it's anything like the one Ben is using for his NESp, it is a Famicom slot and that is an actual NES on a chip. That's a big IF. It does look like one.
