A few ST questions...

Inky I'm sure you could program the 2600 on an ST. Sice both systems deal heavily in assembly. I can't see why not. All you need is a 6502 compiler, which I think is available. Will be interesting to see if you get it to work.

 

As for the manual, I wouldn't bother, as it only explains very basic things like inserting disks, formating and using GEM.

I too was wondering this question.

 

In fact, I was wondering if it was possible on any Atari home computer. Given the products available and neccessary to program for the 2600, can it be done?

 

My thought was this:

 

"Wouldn't it be cool to make a 2600 game on an Atari home computer?"

 

Then, when I got to programming games, I could put on the outside box:

 

"Made for the 2600 on an Atari ###-XXX computer.
