+davidcalgary29
I'm hooked on this now. What a great game! Any opinions on what the best port of this classic may be? I personally think that the A8 version is fantastic, but I've haven't played the port for the C64. Can anyone advise if this is even better? oesii
Don't recall the quality of the c64 port too much, but it was fun back in the day I just played a great arcade-perfect port of Mr. Do on the Sharp X68000 emulator. Great arcade ports on this Japanese only computer (circa 1986). Worth searching out.
Xot
I haven't played the SNES port, but really, NONE of the ports do the arcade game justice IMO. The Colecovision is the best of the lot, though.
Ze_ro
The SNES port is actually quite good, although I'm not entirely sure why they even made a SNES version in the first place. The NeoGeo version is weird. --Zero

The only computer port I've played is the Apple II one, which I'm not even sure was LICENSED, and it was pretty terrible. The CV version at least has all the gameplay elements intact - correct number of cherries, correct screen layouts, correct apple physics (mostly), correct Mr. X behavior. But again, nothing beats the arcade version. Anyone else like any of the sequels? I particularly enjoy Do! Run Run.
Ze_ro
I kinda liked Mr. Do!'s Wild Ride... even if it was kind of a Donkey Kong ripoff. --Zero
MegaManFan
I really like the Gameboy Mr. Do, even though most of the Do sites crap all over it. The remixed music is good, the play control feels tight, and the scrolling screen doesn't bother me at all.
