Fadest
Well, the main boss (selecting which game to publish) who is also doing accounting stuff is french for sure, so is the guy that creates the DTP files (booklet, box, poster, goodies, ...) and the one in charge of production who package all the stuff (flashing PCB, assembling & testing games). The logistic guy (shipment, ...) is french also and the customer complaint service is in France for sure (luckily had only to manage 3 parcels lost/resent to France in 3 years). I think this is enough schizophrenic for a single guy hobby business Ho, forgot to say the guy in charge of communication, social media and other boring stuff is french but this part of me is very lazy. Authors of the games can vary, I usually sign a contract for 1 batch of a given quantity, and only for physical rights (not digital), then if we decide to make another run, it is a genteman agreement. But probbaly half of the games are made by me so it is quite easy to negociate. Box & booklets are printed by a boardgame print factory in Italy, poster by on online print service (based in France & Italy). Shells are 3D printed by various french makers (I use Treatstock), and first batch of 1300 PCB has been ordered directly in China, for resupplying as sales are very low, I am buying from Karri's stock. So yes, Yastuna Games is a one-man business and not my main activity, I am doing everything and asking for help from friends (testing, proof-reading, translations...) or commission an artiste chen needed. Just like Carl is doing with Songbird.
+karri
Nice to hear about Yastuna Games. Currently I am getting low on my cart supplies as well. My estimate is that I have about 10 panels of cards left. (After I run by the post office today to send a batch for a friend.) Sooner or later there may be a need for a re-order of panels. Perhaps in 2025?
Giles N
Got today: Have only three things to say: 1) boy I’m glad I got hold of one of these (like, at all!!) 2) I have indeed become one crazy collector by now 3) should wish some of these games could somehow or someway find their place in ‘bigger’ market or at least reach one more generation, — Lols - guess one more thing I have to add it from the little time I had to test seemed pure quality!
