JagWarlord
Could a Jaguar - Jamma adapter be made? I know a Dreamcast - Jamma exist. I have an empty arcade cabinet and this idea crossed my mind.
Stone
Yep, not too hard. The Jag would probably run off the cab's 12V supply, though you should really regulate it down to 9V. I'd recommend an LM317T part for this because they have a 1.2A rating Re-route the video and audio to the harness (with an audio amp as the Jag outputs at line-level), then all that's needed is something for the pads. You could probably fix something up with a transistor per switch (as the JAMMA buttons short to ground, not between a row and column) but the way I'm thinking of would require that the control panel's 0V not be connected to the cab's 0V, which isn't guaranteed. Without wishing to offer an obvious solution, you could always just run a decent JAMMA board in it Stone
LinkoVitch
I was thinking along these lines too.. only problem I can see is that the Jag doesn't have any concept of credits and start button. But none the less would be an ace thing to have. I'd provide a plug on the unit to allow the plugging in of pads, perhaps make a couple of inbuilt rotary pads too? make an awesome T2K system (this was my original plan )
Tyrant
Hehe, I've thought about getting a custom T2k kiosk made hehe, would be lovely if I ever did it, but doubt I will, lack of cash even for a simple design such as what I have planned.
