CPUWIZ
looking at my collection, I realize I also have a CCE version of this game The big question is "What the hell's up with your Atari?!?". All units undergo a strip search when they enter his house and a lot of them don't get their clothes back.

DeV0
I have 3 copies all on multi pirate carts. One copy has all the wrong colours suggesting NTSC or a bad hack? Maybe seacam even. I guess it doesnt really matter as its a pirate.
Thomas Jentzsch
...also notice the damged pixels in the floweres on the bootleg copy Where?
sku_u
This comes as no surprise to me, since Bobby is Going Home is one of the built-ins for my 128 in 1. The bottom of the screen shows the Bitcorp logo, as do several other games if memory serves me. I also have 2 "unknown" carts that contain Bobby is Going Home in NTSC format. One of them is likely a Zeller's cart, and the other, an unknown Taiwan Cooper cart.

Thomas Jentzsch
The flowers do look different in the two screens above. Yes, but they are animated, the upper part is blinking.

Hornpipe2
Since nobody ever dumped and posted this, I put the Bit Corp. logo back on the Rentacom version. Bobby_Is_Going_Home___Bobby_geht_Heim__1983___Bit_Corporation___PG206_.bin
Rom Hunter
All nice and well, but it's a hack now. Are you 100% certain it's exactly the same as CPUWIZ' NTSC ROM? CPUWIZ, can you please post yours? Edited May 14, 2008 by Rom Hunter
Omegamatrix
I agree with Rom on this one as it becomes difficult to seperate original pirate roms from hacks. Even if there is a very good chance it will be 100% the same as the dumped it can very confusing (and frustrating) very quick. Much better to hack in something that can't be confused with the original. I have no problem with hacks myself. ~Omega

Omegamatrix
Nice! It does 100% match the hack Hornpipe2 did too. A lot of times these pirate companies just erased the logo and put in theirs. Not saying Bit Corp is the pirate in this case. It's nice to have the real rom too.
Rom Hunter
Excellent. Thanks, Wiz.
