Clint Thompson
This thing is absolutely sweet looking! Does anyone know if this is a mod or where I can get one of these babies at? Thanks... Clint Thompson
atarianer2003
Hi, that's a VERY good joystick I've two of them (the one is chrome-blue and the other is red-transparent). They're named CompetitionPro Mini . Inside they have no standard contacts, but micro-switches - very exact. Bye Mike
Clint Thompson
2 of them?! 1 Red and 1 Blue? I want both! (with the chrome buttons! Anywhere I can get these? Clint Thompson That's factory, not modded. Try http://www.amigajoysticks.co.uk and look for Competition Pro. It's a great joystick, and was even re-badged, look here: http://www.myatari.org/issues/sep2002/megaste3.htm

I took that photo. Agreed, it's a great joystick, and there were versions with auto-fire and different colour schemes.
Clint Thompson
Cool stuff! Well, I think I like the blue one best with the Chrome buttons (that's modded right?) Anyone wanna sell me 1 or 2? Clint Thompson
AEX
Clint, I have a spare (or 2) Competition Pro Joystick if you want it. Not sure if they still work (easily fixed), and you can customise them to your hearts content! Send me a private message or e-mail with your address and I'll send you one for Xmas! lais
Cool stuff! Well, I think I like the blue one best with the Chrome buttons (that's modded right?) No, as I said earlier, that's factory, not modded. However, beware that any kind of cosmetic coating, be it chrome or paint, is less durable than coloured plastic "all the way through". On something like a joystick, you'd probably want something durable over prettiness, unless you're just going to look at it! Speaking of decoration, I'm just working on an Atari modding project now, pics later...
