tyranthraxus
How does being able to confirm they are tested affect their ebay value? I've got a Pac Man 2 game that takes some weird batteries that I am considering putting up. Perhaps a better question is will you even bid on an untested unit? Is it worth it for me to track done some batteries? John
Adrian M
Personally, I prefer that any used items I buy are tested in advance. Of course, one can never be sure with eBay as sometimes the seller simply states that the product was tested without have done so. You're bound to yield greater sales if you can take at least a pic of the unit running/working. That way, the buyer can get a better sense of comfort and confidence when deciding whether or not to bid on your auction. My advice, spend the $2.00 or whatever it will cost you for the batteries. You'll benefit from it in the long run.
eric_ruck
I generally assume "untested" means not working and bid accordingly. Eric

christianscott27
i tack the other way, i bid on the ugly ducklings and hope for the best, havent had any bad luck so far and i've picked up a lot of handhelds on ebay. pretty much the worst that can happen to handheld is battery leakage, so mention that "clean compartment"...anyways which pacman 2 do you mean? the blue entex takes 4 C cells, not really that exotic
Video
I useually bid only on tested stuff, unless there simply isn't a supply of them. If it's the only game, and I was wanting it, I'd bid on it weather it was tested or not (but I probably wouldn't pay as high as I would knowing it worked)
tyranthraxus
Yes I have the entex Pacman 2. Its the only thing I have that uses those battery sizes so buying the batteries means I either ship it with it or toss em. Money is a little tight right now and I am cleaning out my game closet to free up some space and get a few bucks. That handheld (along with a mattel football 2) are things I just picked up with various game lots. I don't believe they are worth a whole lot so I want to limit my expenses but if testing put the pac is what it takes then well thats what I'll do.
