mab
In Color Mode - My 2600 shows only a few colors on the screen, I get the full grayscale, plus a few additional colors, like green and yellow, and white (which probably doesn't count anyway). B&W switch does convert it to B&W. example like river raid I have the yellow jet, but no blue water, it's grey. Any suggestions? I've completely cleaned the system in and out already, this seems to be the only problem, the gameplay is fine. I'm not using a RF switchbox either, I have the adapter on my TV. I have used a working RF adapter, but got the same color problem. Thanks -mab
Famicoman
Could you post some screen shots?
Albert
If you look at the bottom of the 2600, there are a few holes that let you get to potentiometers on the board. I know one of these allows you to adjust the color, although I do not know which one off the top of my head. You can use a small screwdriver (preferably plastic) to adjust the color pot while the system is on to get the colors just right. I do not know if this is your problem, but definitely worth a shot. ..Al

bjk7382
Here is what one to adjust. I think there is another one for the RF part, but I am not sure where that one is.
Paul Slocum
The VCSp does that when the batteries are low (some color, some B&W). May be a bad power supply. -paul
