LinkoVitch
I aquired Brain Dead 13 at JFUK Micro and had a quick play with it that night. I have just come to continue from my save game and it seems to not be recognising the save on the MT. I have gone into the MT boot and checked there is a save game there, but the continue option in Brain dead 13 doesn't work! Any one else had this problem? I am running it on a BJL Modded jag (which I have had no problems with prior).
Gregory DG
I don't think the save game feature of BD13 has ever worked. Not only that, but I think the game is bugged. There's this one scene that causes a reboot of the system.
JagChris
My BrainDead 13 save game feature never worked either. You gotta run through the game in one shot it seems.
JagMX
i am so positive it worked for me before - i think it only works if you save the game and leave it on and then you can go back to that spot - i know it definitly doesnt work if you shut the system off and turn it back on
LinkoVitch
Ah Atari quality control at it's best eh I guess the game isn't too long? just plenty of alternate routes that can be taken or the like?
Shaggy the Atarian
I think it's about 3 hours long, but it depends on which paths you chose to take. I know that there is a part with an elevator or something that you have to unlock it which is really close to the end of the game. I'm not sure what you have to do to unlock it, maybe it depends on which scenes you've gone through or something. But after that it doesn't take long to finish the game. ZylonBane
BrainDead 13 is a horrible, horrible, horrible game. You're almost never given a clue what the correct controller motion is, reducing the game to an exercise in death and memorization. Bleah. The only entertaining part is letting Fritz kill Lance. I hate Lance.
Tempest
I beat it once. I thought it was kinda fun at the time (the end is hard!). However the grainy visuals of the Jag version really do make it suck much harder than it really does. Tempest
