Adrian M
Can anyone confirm as to the completeness of Daemon's Gate? Can you actually get any gameplay out of it or is it mostly just an unfinished tech demo? It's something that really has me curious. However, if I spend the money B&C charges for it, I'd rather it have a few hours of solid gameplay in it. Anyone here own it and what is the consensus about it? Should I just save my money? sage
There's a review floating around that you may want to take a look at... http://www.ataritimes.com/lynx/reviews/rev...aemonsgate.html I cannot understand how they could give 70% for an unfinished game!!! +davidcalgary29
That was -- ahem -- me. And that was way before I had played Push Around the World and Lynx Reloaded of course, and discovered what really constituted a good Lynx game. Adrian M
I read the review and my curiosity is peaked. Perhaps after the holidays I'll look into acquring a copy of this game for my Lynx collection. I've always enjoyed curiosity pieces, so why not!
Gregory DG
I cannot understand how they could give 70% for an unfinished game!!! I'm sure it would have gotten a better score if it were complete!
chris_lynx1989
i have this game and it is very much like "bill and ted's exc. adv." to me. i'm not a big rpg fan,so i find it a bit repetitive like bill and ted.many like rpgs and may love it too.the game is more complete than many folks have really given it credit for being.i've not generally liked reviews in the past, as most have panned some really nice lynx and jaguar stuff--most were not atari fans truly.some reviews can be true too.you're your best judge of what is good and what you like and want in a lynx game.i've loved some of the stuff people "said" that sucked.you be the judge.if you like an rpg,it may just be the game for you.it has a lot of ground to wander all over like bill and ted has.i cannot get in and be that immersed in an rpg like some folks can.i like action to keep me busy and not menus to pick items from.--the lynxer
SwedenLynxer
It's a sad thing this game was never completed But if you like RPG:s I would recommend it anyway. Davids 70% is a fair score I think. It offers a lot of gameplay. But I have not yet got out of the first town though
