babble
What's Joust like as a multiplayer game? Thank you!
ozyr
Pretty cool. Not as good as Slime World or BattleWheels, but it's nice for each player to have his own screen. Of course, it's just as fun on other game systems using the same screen - and probably cheaper this way too.
Agent X
It's quite possibly one of the best multiplayer versions of Joust ever. Not only does the Lynx have a very accurate recreation of the arcade game (aside from lower screen resolution), but there's also "Gladiator Mode," which is exclusive to the Lynx version. Gladiator Mode removes all of the computer-controlled enemies and allows you to set up the arena platforms as you see fit, so you and your "friend" can battle it out head-to-head, one-on-one. I haven't played two-player Joust on the Lynx in several years, but if you get the opportunity to do so, then you'll have a lot of fun wth it. ozyr
I forgot about Gladiator mode. Damn cool. Guess I'll have to pull out my two carts and units and play it over the Holidays...
