gospeedde
So I had just bought BMX Airmaster and was learning to play it with a friend when we realized that instead of dying on our last life we got three extra lives. This continued every time we died till we had more lives than the counter could hold and it turned into strange characters (I think we ended up at twelve eventually). Then we started dying for real and quickly ran out of lives cause we sucked. I very much want to do it again but have no idea how. If any of you know how to do this and could let me know that would be fabulous. Then I can be cool again.
StanJr
never heard of this before Do you have ANY idea of the circumstances surrounding this occurance? game variation, etc.??? I'll pop BMX in tonight and see what I can come up with.
Tempest
My guess is that either you were playing it on a slightly incompatible 2600 system (some 2600jr's and 6-switches don't like certain games) or you accidently 'fried' it and were reaping the rewards. I'd guess the latter since you can't reproduce it. Tempest
gospeedde
I have a normal woodgrain four switch atari console, so that's not it. I may have fried it, though my being unable to reproduce the effect may have more to do with the fact that I can't actually play this game very well. I wasn't really paying attention when it happened so there's not much detail I can give you. All I'm sure of is that we'd made it through all the levels once and were on the first level for the second time when we suddenly noticed we had a plethora of lives. We weren't looking to find cheats, we were just trying to figure out how to do the cool moves. We were trying to do all the different combos, unsuccessfully I might add. Thanks for responding, I think I like this forum.
