elviticus
I'm SURE this isn't the first time this topic has been discussed, but.... Who else would like to see someone take another crack at Donkey Kong on the 2600? When I play new homebrews like Thrust (and even old games like Montezuma's revenge, Hero, Ptfall 2) I just can't help but wonder how well it COULD have been done. I'll never forget buying that game in the early 80s and wondering ..... when is the elevator level coming?,,, never.... ugggh... Much as Pac-Man is ridiculed, this one hurt way worse! Nukey Shay
Should be possible if the cart size were increased to 8 or 16k I don't think it would be in just 4 though. There was a phoney baloney thread around here someplace... EDIT: http://atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=22578 Be sure and check out Andrew's .bins on the next page

It wouldnt take much to improve Donkey Kong Jr. I think my 9 year old could do that.

The only thing that could "improve" Donkey Kong Jr. for the 2600 is to rewrite the whole game from scratch.
