Heaven/TQA Posted January 11, 2004 Share Posted January 11, 2004 as homebrew developer how can i start in mess the emulation of 7800 in PAL mode??? i have the latest windows mess version... the bios files found on the net are "just the NTSC" ones? any help much appreciated. For PAL 7800 files you just need to know where to look. To set them up in MESS, create an a7800p folder and drop you PAL ROMs in there. It should be the same as the NTSC setup. Like this: MESSsoftwarea7800 = NTSC MESSsoftwarea7800p = PAL Do the same for the BIOS folder and you should be good to go. One other note; PAL 7800 emulation in MESS is a little buggier than the NTSC emulation. So, if you are using it for development, don't rely on it too much.
