Spirantho
Just got this on eBay for a whole 2 quid.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...egory=3528&rd=1 Anyone know where this came from? I expect the cart is the same but the box and particularly mini-sized instructions are intriguing. Just curious....
bjk7382
Its got one of those white genaric boxes like the joysticks are sometimes found. The instructions just look like plain ol black and white also.
Spirantho
Sorry to bump my own post like this, but can I take it nobody actually knows where this cart came from? For those who are interested, I've now got the cart and box in front of me: it really is a small box... but odder still is the little black and white instruction card, which is the same length as the cart, and slightly narrower. The cart is a © 1986 black picture label. I've not seen a cart in packaging like it... nobody has an idea why it's like this? Could it be part of a package with a set of paddles? How were paddles packaged in 1986?
CincYnoTi
i received a PAL pigs in space in a box like that. i think the instructions were a photocopy, but i don't remember for sure. i threw away the box. it just looked like a generic box that a store had used for repackaging. is there any type or atari copyright info on the box or is it completely blank? Spirantho
The box is completely blank, yes.... the instructions look like they're photocopied too, but they're on quite thick, card-like paper - nothing like the paper used normally at all. Plus it's folded up unlike a book and more like a leaflet... maybe I can get some piccies to demonstrate...
Marco
I have a game in a box like that also, I think it's RS Basketball. It had no manual though. Cheers, Marco
Clock
I've never seen this before but it does look like it could be some sort of pack-in maybe with paddles or with a system. It may have been a store exclusive pack-in or something.
