lhfreak
Well, I am preparing for my third annual atari party for this Saturday (24th). I've started bringing things out and spent a couple hours last night checking controllers via the Testcart (which as awsome...thanks atariage!) This whole week I will slowly convert my place to a mini arcade featuring the 7800, 2600, Colecovision, C128, Amiga 2000HD, and the Jaguar....Also there will be a bunch of handhelds, as well as some boardgames out (Dark Tower, Stop Thief, Lost Treasure and Pac Man)! I'll post pics of this thing when it's underway!!

tyranthraxus
I organized one in my apartment about a year and half ago. I had 3 systems running: CV, 800XL and 2600. It was pretty fun my only regret was not owning a copy of Warlords at the time. I've got a 7800 now and with all its two player games I wish I had that too. If I were to do it again I would also limit the number of games I'd make available I pretty much dumped everything out and I think that bogged people down as I left them to sort the crap from the cream. Forgot to take pics I was too busy.
ApolloBoy
Cool! Here are some games I'd suggest... Atari 2600 Warlords Indy 500 Video Olympics Combat Mario Bros. Breakout (or Super Breakout) Outlaw Space Invaders Boxing Tennis Atari 7800 Asteroids Centipede Ballblazer Mario Bros. Ikari Warriors One-on-One Basketball Joust Basketbrawl Xenophobe
SteveW
Did you have a Commodore Amiga or an Atari ST there? All those Psygnosis boxes piled up in the first picture looked sweet.

lhfreak
Here's a couple more.....And yes, the Psygnosis games were for the Amiga 2000HD. (Blood Money is on in the pic). The party winded down around 1 or 2 a.m. The last game played was Dragster. My friend Darryl scored 5.84 sec!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course I didnt get THAT pic! I was so drunk by that time.....Anyway...next year.........
AtariDude
I really like the picture with all the handheld machines. I used to have a few of them in the day and recently got the re-release of Mattel's Football although I don't play as well as when I was younger. How long did the party last by the way? lhfreak
The bottom pic of the Amiga has Blood Money on it. The bottom pic of everyone on the Atari is Warlords....(had the flash on so you cant see it...sorry!) The party lasted til around 2 or 3 a.m. Next years will be bigger and better!
