Games That Should Be Remade (according to GameSpot)

The games that I really want remade are Ninja Warriors Again (because it was the only beat-'em-up I ever liked (besides TMNT of course)), and Squenix better remake Terranigma (and put it on the cube, you know, for consistency), otherwise I'll start campaigning against them. I'm sure there are more than enough irate fans out there to sufficiently plague them with letters until they do it :ponder:

River City Ransom should be remade :)  also a horror game that combines freddy, jason, pinhead, leatherface and mike myers

Whoa! That would be a licensing nightmare!

And there's a River City Ransom game coming out for the GBA "Real Soon Now" .

I'd kill to see a remake (or at the very least a rerelease) of Xenophobe, the classic arcade package, and not the cheesy NES version! To tell the truth, the 7800 version (and even the 2600 version) were better than that one!

Splatterhouse is one I've only experienced off and on, but I wouldn't mind seeing a remake.

And the Lynx version is the best. :)

I wouldn't mind seeing Raid on Bungeling Bay done again, and that was in their list. But would they really capture the essence of the classics? I doubt it. If it came out on the new systems, most of them wouldn't be 2-d, and probably end up being just a shell of their former glory anyway.
