Mr.FoodMonster
Today was a snow day (score) and I had nothing to do. A friend asked if I wanted to go to the mall with him. I had $10 to my name, and not expecting to come home with anything. Low and behold, the EB was not to dissapoint. I got Darius Gaiden PC for a mere $2.71. It was marked 5.42 and 1/2 off. It was very old, the shrinkwrape tore apart, and just an old game. An old, GREAT game. Glad it works on my XP. The other one I got was GB Game and Watch gallery, basicly because I remember someone raving about how good they are. And, at 5 bucks, it was. =P Someone named 'Nick H' also thought so, and wrote his name on it. Bastard. Oh well!

It only ran at 256 colors, which my vidcard hated(far preferring 16-bit color, it got really slow in 8-bit mode), and the dithered shading from the downsampling looked horrible. So I had a laggy, ugly port of a game I could emulate perfectly.
Mr.FoodMonster
With further research, DG dosnt work past level A. I have a good feeling it will work upstairs on one of my 98 machines or my other XP. Hope so.
chairmonkey4406
I too had a snow day Monday and Tuesday. I was in the Omaha area. Did you get off from the same storm we did?
MegaManFan
Read the bottom line G, he's from Michigan (my old stomping grounds). I've been living in Omaha for a few years now, and this is the worst storm I've seen since +leaving+ Michigan. Man I got buried under some of that stupid "lake effect" snow up there more times than I can count. However I'm still shoveling white crap out of my driveway, even today. Zeus
How much snow do you normally get in Omaha? I'm just curious.
MegaManFan
MrsMegaManFan would be the expert, but from what I've told, the last few winters up until this one were unseasonably mild. Judging by how harsh this one is (ever since the foot + of snow it's been at or below 0 degrees every day) I'm guessing it's more indicative of the norm. At least, it reminds me more of the winters I experienced growing up in central Iowa.
chairmonkey4406
This is the most snow we've gotten in a LONG time. The last big snow like this I think was October back in '99 or '98. We usually get 3-6 inches when it snows but this time we got 15 and then it was windy so it made huge drifts.
