Wolf9545
I have four Atari 2600 carts that the copyright date on them are different than what is listed on the rarity guide site. The games are: 1) Jr. Pac-Man, Atari, Red, mine has 1988 as copyright 2) Kangaroo, Atari, Silver, mine has 1988 as copyright 3) Stargate, Atar, Silver, mine has 1987 as copyright 4) Dig Dug, Atari, Silver, mine has 1988 as copyright I can scan in the carts if anyone wants but I didn't think it was needed right now. Does anyone have any more info on these?
MegaManFan
Long story short: Atari copyright dates are for the original release, but every time they made another batch they printed new labels with a copyright for the current year issued. So even if the game itself is actually copyright 1980, if they re-released it in 1988, that's what the label will say the copyright is. Makes for a lot of interesting label variations to collect. sku_u
So is the rarity any different than what is listed on the list? That all depends on who the buyer is
