Taz: is it as bad as the reviews say?

Just won Taz as part of a 5-game lot on eBay. Didn't bid for this game, but for Crystal Castles (the "star" game of the lot) which I loved before I sold all my 2600 games. Anyway, is Taz all that bad? It looks a bit like Jawbreaker, which a friend of mine had way back when.

The seller claimed the lot was for 5 7800 games when they're all 2600! Shows how much he knows :P

I think we know who didn't like Taz . . . :) And, well, let's not get into that debate again (and hope the Als have locked that thread by now).

Personally, I like it, but I think it's a bit long. Great fun until you realize how long it is, though.

As far as protos go, A-Team/Saboteur (which might share code with it), and Entity are similar as well . . . And Garfield, although it's a multi-screen platformer, uses the Taz kernel . . .

well taz is a big dude, asterix is an anorexic rabbit!  :P

I thought he was a short viking looking dude?? :?

Or are you talking about the Trix Rabbit?

Why wouldn't those selfish ass kids give that poor rabbit Trix anyways?

Little bastards.

I would've gone and got Super Sugar Bear to maul the shit out out of them.

Errmmm Taz is good....Ummm In short bursts....great reflex game...Great graphics, challening gameplay....better with CX80 roller controller, or so I've heard. Also try Solar Fox, or Turmoil
