tyranthraxus
I'm not up to speed on the new shows but it has Jerry Stiller in it (he was Castanza's dad in Seinfeld) and is about a chubby homely guy and his much thinner better looking wife and hilarity ensues. Hopefully that will help someone name it. Anyhow in a rerun I saw yesterday the guys were playing video games and on the coffee table was the distinct silver and black console with a game in it. kyle
I think your talking about king of queens! Maybe the 7800 was left behind in props from early 90s show home improvement? I recall seeing a 7800 on that show years ago.
SteveW
There was an episode of Married... With Children that was set inside Bud's bedroom, and i'd swear there was a 7800 on a shelf in the background. The camera view didn't get close enough to really tell for sure. I don't know why it doesn't show up on TV and in movies more often. It's a great looking console.
DracIsBack
I could have sworn Bud's console was a 5200. I do remember an episode of MY TWO DADS where the parents were trying to teach the kids about the dangers of drinking by playing POLE POSITION II drunk. I was actually saw the taping of that specific show when I lived in L.A.! I was even able to meet the cast. A girl friend of mine was Chad Allen's neighbor and he was on the show pretty frequently. It was pretty cool being backstage.

+bent_pin
Spotted what looks to be a 7800 on Home Improvement, but the more that I look, it may be a painline controller and a 5200. Opinions?

Opinions? Not a 5200 - definitely a 7800. Better, including less distorted, pics are here: 3 1
