Artlover
I think the biggest problem is not making the information available, but finding a way that newbies will actually SEE it before posting their questions. Search? I'd like to see a system where when you try to post a message, the system would automaticly do a keyword search based on whatever your topic name is. Then, before even allowing you into the editor, pop up a window saying "we have found the following topics that maybe simmilar to yours" with a list of hypertext links to all found messages. Then have a button at the bottom of the links list saying "to continue entering a new message, click here". If that wouldn't be feasable, then how about about making the "search" option in the menus atleast a 40 point bold font, have it blinking with spinning gold stars circleing around it. Captain Harlock
I think it is either a real 2600 clone like the Akor TV boy or it is a NES clone with the Atari games ported to the NES. I think it is the latter because this stick has a START button which the NES controller has, but the 2600 doesn't have.
raindog
The 2600 does have a "start button". It's called "reset". If the Jakks games really are NES clones like the Intellivision one, I'd love to see the games get dumped so I can play them in a NES emulator on my GBA. I'm thinking they're not, though, because after a year of availability and ease of acquisition someone would have already figured it out. I already stated that the search I did on the product name didn't work because nobody wrote it up with that string in the articles. Give it a rest. raindog
If the Jakks games really are NES clones like the Intellivision one, Read my post above, I think I've explained it quite accurate. I think I've seen a similar explanation before. That raises the question of what's going on with the other Jakks controllers, specifically the Namco ones.... all the games on the one that's out there now are Z80-based, and most (if not all) differ in presentation from the arcade versions. Props to Jakks Pacific though for not just taking the pirate NES way out. The Blue Sky Rangers have really hurt their name with some of their licensing deals in the last year (I'm sure they're laughing all the way to the bank, but I'm still a bit disappointed.) Captain Harlock
The 2600 does have a "start button". It's called "reset". I didn't mean this, the Jakks has a start AND a reset button.
