lager1138
I am in the US and have a pal 2600. My computer has a pal tuner in it and I cobbled together a makeshift temporary cable to make sure everything works. It does but is is ugly and not durable. I am looking to buy a pal a/b box for the 2600 as the cable end on the console is of a slightly wrong size to fit into my ntsc style a/b box. If you have a switch for sale let me know or if you know of an end adapter that will convert the pal "rca" plug to the US ntsc plug. My console is in like new condition and I do not want to replace the end by cutting it off. Thanks!
Susuwatari
9 out of 10 times, you can safely replace that cable by openng the 2600.
liveinabin
In a PAL console, that's 10 out of 10 times. Just take the screws out, open the 2600 and you'll see.

lager1138
Yup, the cable went right in. Now I have found out that I have a busted (shorted out) switch box. Oh well, those are cheap to buy. Thanks again for the tip.
