Alcopoper
Does anybody know, wether the Falcon030 Poper supply (German Version, 220V, 50...60 Hz) does support also 110 V ? My Falcon is still over in Germany, and if I would find a cheap and easy way to hook it up here (US), I would like to import it...
Atari_Owl
HI There, Well my Falcon bought in the UK (240V) worked just fine when i was in Canada in '94/'95. I called up AtariUK, back in '94 before i moved out to BC and they told me that the machines had switching PSUs. I'm not absolutely sure this was true of every machine, but i can confirm mine was ok. It might be possible that the North American machines weren't, as often machines which are multi standard (for whatever feature) in europe aren't when they're released in the US. CHeers, and welcome
Alcopoper
Now, that is good new Guess I will start than the import process . Would be kinda hard to find just a poper supply, would'nt it? do you know, what the power consumption of a F030 was - or, what Power consumption (in Watts) the origignal Power supply was made for? Just in case, I could work with an adapter..... Thx for the welcome!
Atari_Owl
HI there, 120W max power consumption. Think also about the possibility of CT60 (www.czuba-tech.com) and an ATX PSU. The CT60 is truly fantastic, 66MHz 68060 CPU, up to 512MB. I myself have a 100MHz 68060 in one of my falcons at this very moment and i can heartily recommend it to anyone. Cheers
