I’ve been looking for the GameBoy version for quite a while now. Hard to find; I’m not even 100% sure that it was released in the US. I think that the name on it was called Brix II or something. It had funky music, and the game had an evil sadistic laugh when you died. Like SS said, the arcade version is pretty interesting. It's nice to be rewarded for completing a hard puzzle now and then. :-) I have a complete NES copy. It's a great game worthy of being in any puzzle fan's collection.
