+-^CrossBow^-
Okay odd post to find here I know, but this was the best forum I could think of. Also any Alumni who happen to visit these parts fairly frequently or historians are most encouraged to post about this. I am looking specifically for information regarding anything of significance that Marcian Edward “Ted” Hoff, Jr. or simply Tedd Hoff did at Atari while he was VP of the Technology group around 82. I have a small biblio project to do on this individual in my programming 1 class this semester. I know the main points behind this guy and in fact if not for his Intel 4044 design...we wouldn't have computers today as we know it. But I was shocked to see all the online biblio sites only mention his working at Atari and not really state anything he might have accomplished there. Being VP of the Technologies group I would be interested to know what designs he approved or and hardware technology decisions he was behind...etc. I am not just going to focus on his Atari roots...but will make them a focus since everyone else in my class is focusing on his 4044 and other same stuff. I want to provide information on the guy...no one else has or would be able to find easily. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
