lhfreak
The school my wife teaches at got a bunch of new computers. They were gonna throw the old ones away. My wife asked to give them to me instead. So I just inherited THREE Apple IIe computers with color monitors, disk drives and lots of software (mostly kids software)....... I know I know.....they STILL had apples there!!!

I worked with apple II's in 1998 in 8th Grade computer class... and who would have thought that they keep those beasts around im talking 30 Apple II's and about 60 Disk Drives (2 per machine) yes it was heptic when I went back a couple of years ago that they where GONE!! I asked about the apple II's, but she said they where long gone! Enjoy your machines!! (I hope they have Apple II's in the University when I go in July )
SteveW
The tiny little private school my mom teaches at has a few old Apple II machines still in use. They used to have a lot of them, but the school's been burglarised a few times, and the computers are usually the first things stolen. I think they only have two old Apple IIe models left. Atari_Worshipper
The best games I've ever played on the Apple IIe was Number/Word Munchers and Mormon Trail.....
chairmonkey4406
I remember and old Apple IIe at my school when I was in first grade (1996-1997) all the other kids ignored it but I played on it quite often. I wonder if they still have it....
vintagegamer89
Wow that is one lucky find. My classroom had one in 3rd grade(1998). Needless to say I check their dumpster everyday to make sure when they get rid of it, it sits in my room 5 minutes later! Also, Im pretty sure I have an old ad for an Apple II somewhere in my room....If you want it its yours.
lonesome_pa
I remember playing Lemonade Stand on my old school IIe back in the day. I seem to remember it having the dual disk drive unit sitting on top of it too. Ah, the good ole days....
