The Sage of Sega
Hello, I'm asking this because I just tried to plug in a newly obtained VIC-20 unit with a cable I assumed would work. There was a flash of blue light, and needless to say, it didn't work . Did I fry something indefinetely, or was there a fuse in the unit to protect the computer from my idiocy? Also, if the unit didn't have a fuse, what would be the first component that would have been affected? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks! But anyway, the manual says something about a Slo-Blo fuse, open it up and look for a Slo-Blo fuse. There might also be a chance you fried the fuse, so don't give up. Susuwatari
Did you use AV cable or RF modulator? If you used RF modulator and it's for TI-99 computer, then the modulator's most likely fried.
