christianscott27
i've got a couple of PAL systems and i'm wondering if anybody in the US has had any luck using a monitor to display them. i've got a pair of older commodore monitors that should display pal but i cant figure out what way to work around the antenna out. i'm talking like 2600 clones and arcadia type machines, not modern systems. Phosphor Dot Fossils
If they were RCA video out jacks, I'd say to look for a PAL-capable Panasonic S1300N broadcast monitor on eBay. (I've got a couple of these, and they're great for everything - gaming, watching movies, what have you.) But European RF boxes? Hmmmmm...I haven't a clue on that one. christianscott27
they have outs like you would find on a 2600 or magnavox pong, the classic game/TV slider box, the monitors have RCA audio and video ins. the obvious work around is to use a VCR to take the RF in and then have RCA out, trouble there is that my VCRs are of course NTSC. i did use that method and was able to stabilze the pic from rolling but it was still black and white. dammit why does'nt radio shack sell a reverse RF modulator!
