jsoper Posted April 20, 2004 Share Posted April 20, 2004 Alternative how? What do you mean? The only 2600 game that supports trackball mode is Thomas J's hack of Missile Command. All the other games need the trackball set to joystick mode, so it is an alternative itself to the joystick (and not a very good one). True trackball lovers should get a 5200 or maybe a psone with the Arcades Greatest Hits series and the Nyko trackball. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I own both trackballs, and I love the 5200 'ball's build, look and feel. It makes the 2600 trackball look like a cheap suit. Just wondering... Thanks, and, again, sorry to intrude into this post.
