Controllers

I know all the games say "for use with ___ controller" on the box, but I'm just wondering if you can interchangeably use joysticks, paddles, or driving controllers for any game. Specifically, can I play Indy 500 with joysticks, or do I need to buy a driving controller?

No, you can't, for Indy for instance you will need the driving controller.

Very few games can use interchangable controls.

I think Astroblast you can use either Paddles or Joysticks...Thats all I can think of. I say test and experiment. I'll expect a full report on my desk by Friday.

You can play Canyon Bomber with a Joystick, since you only use the fire button. The Sea Bomber game requires paddles though.

You can have exactly the same amount of fun playing ET whether you use the joysticks, paddles, driving controllers, or no controller at all.

Hey, someone should actually make a full report of that, a list of what controllers work for what games would be pretty cool.
