chrishicks
I have been thinking about trying to use MAME on the DC and was wondering if I could get some feedback on any experiences you may have had with it. is it hard to create the discs? are the roms hard to find? what all do I need to know before I get into this? any help would be great. thanks. Ze_ro
Stay away from "MAMED"... it works, but it's a port of a very old version of MAME (0.36b16 I think). Finding roms that work with it will be extremely hard. Go with the Wowpack MAME instead, since it's using a much newer version. I haven't tried burning it myself though, so I can't offer any further advice. --Zero

BigFairy321
which basically limits u to the most basic games like pac man , space invader and the like.... dont even think about sf2, double dragon or anything made after say 1986
Jess Ragan
MAME on Dreamcast sucks the butt. So does MESS, for that matter. Vectrex emulation (using MESS) is so slow and painful on the Dreamcast that it's completely impossible to enjoy. JR
