atwwong
I know this is an old topic but look what I found on Chris' Homepage at: http://www.multimania.com/khryssun/vcss_projects.html Wonder how he's doing on these projects? It seems like a lot of work. Are they all projects (YES?!) or mock ups?

khryssun
Lee, Always said that in a private email but thanks for playing Yars' Quest and for the review. BTW, please change my name in the review's header.... khryssun is a nickname Striker, These games are real projects... but as I have only 1 brain and 2 hands and few time, you'll have to be patient.... BTW I have another game in project I haven't made a fake label so far.... but It might be the first new game to be released. Regarding the threads, I think a lot of people will enjoy to play it. a "BIG" clue A.......e 2 [ 08-04-2001: Message edited by: khryssun ]
liquid_sky
I agree, Yars quest is great. JUst wondering, I might have missed it on the site, what do you program the games in? ASM?

Yes, I wrote the core fonctions (screen display, sprites, collisions detection, sounds, device inputs...) in machine langage using TASM 5.0. And I use Turbo C++ to call these fonctions and write the game itself.
atwwong
Chris, Adventure 2!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you making ADVENTURE 2????? BTW, I for one really appreciate the work, time, and effort that you and others do for making our lives a lot of fun! If only I could program Atari type games... I guess I'll just stick to playing and having fun... Many thanks!!! (okay, I'll stop it now!)
